Your obligations during your cooperation with Eurovalley s.r.o. (hereinafter EV):

While working for EV, you are required to maintain a high level of integrity. This material informs you about EV's Code of Conduct and outlines the rules that support this behavior. If you have any questions or doubts about any rule, please contact your direct EV contact person. The obligations contained in this document may be amended or extended by your contract(s) with EV.

EV Code of Conduct

Calls on individuals to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws
  • Be honest, fair, and trustworthy in all activities and relationships
  • Avoid all conflicts of interest between professional and personal matters
  • Promote equality across diverse communities
  • Strive to create a safe working environment and protect the environment
  • Recognize, value, and promote ethical behavior

General Principles

  • As an independent insurance intermediary, you are obligated to select and propose only insurance policies that best meet the client's insurance protection needs.
  • Adhere to the rules of fair competition and business customs, refrain from making false and defamatory statements about your competitors, and avoid anything that could undermine client trust or create a distorted impression of their services.
  • Ensure all advertising is truthful, in accordance with fair competition, and free from misleading elements.
  • As part of the economic sector in insurance, you are obliged to contribute to maintaining a healthy and functional insurance market

Principles of Conduct Towards Clients

  • Adhere to the principles of confidentiality regarding all facts related to client insurance
  • Always provide complete, truthful, unbiased, and understandable information about insurance companies, insurance products, and their prices
  • Do not accept client requests to arrange insurance with dishonest intentions
  • Depending on the content of the client agreement, you are responsible for comprehensive risk analysis, drafting insurance program proposals, consulting and advisory activities, managing concluded insurance policies, and cooperation during insured events
  • You must place insurance at the price and under the conditions presented by the insurer
  • Do not use unfair or unethical practices against competitors to acquire clients

Conflict of Interest

  • Avoid any activities or relationships that could conflict with your work in fulfilling tasks for EV company, or that could create the appearance of such a conflict
  • Do not use EV company's resources and assets for activities you conduct outside the scope of work performed for EV company
  • Do not discredit the name or reputation of EV company
  • If a potential conflict of interest applies to you, report it in writing to your direct contact at EV company

Control and Accounting Procedures

  • Adhere to accounting procedures and rules for reporting, financial management, and control
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and complete chronological records and other documentation related to work performed for OKG company, and treat them as confidential
  • Ensure the confidentiality of EV company information
  • do not disclose EV company information outside the scope of this company unless you have explicit consent from EV company management

Intellectual Property

  • protect the intellectual property of EV company and third parties
  • unless required by your work, do not disclose or release internal or confidential information or data of EV company or other entities that EV company protects as confidential
  • upon termination of your cooperation with EV company, promptly return all EV company property, including confidential or internal documents
  • if you are unsure what constitutes internal or confidential information and documents, contact your direct EV company representative

Fair Employment Practices

  • apply the principle of equal and impartial treatment to all individuals regardless of their race, skin color, religious belief, nationality, gender, age, disability, or other legally protected characteristic
  • maintain a work environment free from harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment and bullying

Environment, Health and Safety

  • comply with all relevant laws and regulations concerning environmental protection, health and safety, and fire protection
  • create and maintain a safe working environment
  • prevent workplace accidents

Security and Crisis Management

  • adhere to the entry and exit rules for each EV company premises
  • prevent unauthorized persons from accessing EV company premises
  • Protect EV's property and equipment from theft and misuse.
  • Support adherence to procedures for preventing criminal acts that threaten EV's employees, clients, customers, and business partners, as well as its equipment and technology.

Competitive Relationships

  • Never discuss prices, costs, profit margins, or other topics that are part of your cooperation with EV with competitors.
  • Any communication with EV company competitors should be kept strictly within limits for which there is a legitimate business reason.
  • Avoid communication or actions that could create suspicion of unfair contracts or agreements.

Relationships with Insurers

  • Be fair and act lawfully, purposefully, and honestly in all relationships with suppliers.
  • You must never be dependent on any insurer.
  • Keep up-to-date on the state of the insurance market, individual insurers, and their products.
  • Act impartially and professionally when placing business, and especially avoid any slander or favoritism towards any insurer.
  • Maintain good cooperative relationships with insurers, typically formalized in individual cooperation agreements.

Privacy Protection

  • Use customer information only for legitimate business purposes.
  • Secure your customer information in both written and electronic forms.
  • Do not acquire, process, or store information about your clients in violation of laws, especially the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • If, in the course of your duties, you come into contact with third-party personal data, you are obliged to handle such data in accordance with Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, and the GDPR directive.

Cooperation with Public Authorities

  • maintain the highest possible level of integrity in all interactions with representatives of public authorities and institutions
  • when dealing with public authorities and institutions, always avoid even the appearance of improper conduct and strictly adhere to laws and regulatory rules governing the provision of products and services to these entities

Internal and Confidential Information

  • do not disclose or release (except as required by your work for EV) internal or confidential information or data of EV or of other entities that EV is obligated to protect as confidential
  • information generated during work for EV is the property of EV
  • upon completion of your assignment for EV, promptly return all property belonging to EV, including materials that are confidential or internal in nature
  • if you are unsure what is considered internal or confidential, please ask your direct contact at EV for clarification
